Just the tip with Mason🎾

Here’s a quick one for spooky season 🎃

Keep your non-dominant arm extended parallel to the baseline as you prepare to hit your forehand.

Many players let their non-dominant arm drop to their side or tuck it against their chest during the backswing. Instead, actively stretch that arm across your body, pointing it toward the oncoming ball.

Why This Matters

  • Automatic Shoulder Turn: Extending your arm forces your shoulders to rotate fully, storing explosive kinetic energy for the shot.

  • Perfect Balance: It acts as a counterweight, keeping you upright and stable through contact.

  • Spacing and Timing: It helps you measure the exact distance between your body and the ball so you don't crowd your shot.

As you swing forward, naturally catch or pull that arm back toward your torso to allow your hips and shoulders to uncoil smoothly into the follow-through.
